This discussion forum is aimed at supporting people who are trying to lose weight by adopting a healthier lifestyle and taking the alli capsules. Posts about topics unrelated to losing weight with alli may be removed. This site is intended for board users in the UK aged 18 or over. We regret that any posts from users aged under 18 years will be removed.

Here is a list of house rules that you must stick to whenever you use the alli discussion forum. Messages that break these rules will be removed and the person responsible for posting them may be barred from using the service.

In general, please treat other people, and in particular other board users, with respect. Remember that the meaning of words can be distorted in an electronic message - something you intend as a joke can be misconstrued as offensive.

The following is never permitted:

• Abusive, threatening, or defamatory messages, or those that incite hatred against any social, religious or ethnic group.
• Offensive content (including usernames) such as sexually explicit or indecent comments, obscenities, and profanities.
• Potentially libellous or defamatory postings.
• Anything potentially in breach of copyright. All posts that include images or videos will be removed.
• Content that could be in contempt of court.
• Messages that condone or promote illegal activities.
• Spamming (i.e. the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times).
• Giving out or requesting personal details (such as your email, phone number, password or address), links to social networking sites or arranging real-life meetings.
• Advertising, commercial promotion or campaigning of any kind. Messages not written in the English language.
• Providing links to other sites that would contravene the house rules.
• A username that breaks any of the above rules, or can be mistaken for a site administrator, or can be confused with a public figure or brand.

alli is a medicine. Although we’ve provided some guidance on postings and behaviours that are not permitted, this isn’t a full list of the regulations so we may remove your contribution from the discussion forum for other reasons. The site administrators reserve the right to delete any material, or take any action against any user, at any time for any reason.
